Adair:

Beginning on 5th Street at Interstate 80; thence northerly to the Adair‑Guthrie County line.

Stuart:

Beginning again at the west corporation line connecting with Front Street; thence east on Front Street to the east corporation line.

Beginning again on the Adair‑Guthrie County line at the east corporation line of Stuart connecting with Front Street; thence east along the Adair‑Guthrie County line through Sections 4, 3 and 2‑T77N‑R30W to a point approximately ¼ mile east of the NW Corner Section 2‑T77N‑R30W, Adair County (SW Corner Section 35‑T78N‑R30W, Guthrie County).

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Due to the relocation of US 6 in Adair County, Unsigned Iowa 925 has been created and its description should be officially included in the primary road system.

Unsigned Iowa 925 begins in the City of Adair at a junction with Interstate 80 and proceeds north to the Adair‑Guthrie County line; beginning again on the Adair‑Guthrie County line at the west corporation line of the City of Stuart and proceeds easterly along the Adair-Guthrie county line to a point approximately two miles east of the City of Stuart.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended the commission approve including the attached description of Unsigned Iowa 925 in Adair County in the primary road system.

Locate Unsigned Iowa 925 and its extensions in Adair County as follows:

Adair:

Beginning on an unnamed street at Interstate 80; thence northerly to the Adair-Guthrie county line.

Stuart:

Beginning at the west corporation line connecting with an unnamed street; thence easterly to the east corporation line connecting with an unnamed street.

Beginning again on the Adair‑Guthrie County line at the east corporation line of the City of Stuart connecting with unnamed street; thence east along the Adair‑Guthrie County line through Sections 4, 3 and 2‑T77N‑R30W to a point approximately ¼ mile east of the NW Corner Section 2‑T77N‑R30W, Adair County (SW Corner Section 35‑T78N‑R30W, Guthrie County).
