Belle Plaine:

Beginning at the south corporation line connecting with 7th Avenue; thence north on 7th Avenue to 13th Street; thence west and northwest on 13th Street to the west corporation line.

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Due to a review of our Primary Road System records, Iowa 21 in Benton County, Iowa should be deleted and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary System.

Iowa 21 begins at the Benton‑Iowa County line approximately 1½ miles south of Belle Plaine and travels northerly, westerly, northwesterly, and northerly through Belle Plaine intersecting with US 30 and to the junction with Iowa 8 approximately ½ mile north of Dysart.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

Locate Iowa 21 and its extension in Benton County as follows:

Belle Plaine:

Beginning at the south corporation line connecting with an unnamed street; thence northerly; thence westerly to the west corporation line connecting with an unnamed street.
