DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Transfer of jurisdiction agreement number 2016-TJ-004 between the Iowa Department of Transportation and the city of Waterloo transferred the portion of Unsigned Iowa 934 within the corporation limits of the city of Waterloo, a length of approximately 2.83 miles, from State to City effective at 12:01 a.m., September 1, 2016.

Transfer of jurisdiction agreement number 2014-TJ-009 between the Iowa Department of Transportation and the city of Cedar Falls transferred the portion of Unsigned Iowa 934 within the corporation limits of the city of Cedar Falls, a length of approximately 2.052 miles, from State to City effective at 12:01 a.m., August 1, 2014.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that Unsigned Iowa 934, as described above, be removed from the Primary Road System.

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Transfer of jurisdiction agreement number 98-TJ-004 between the Iowa Department of Transportation and the cities of Waterloo and Cedar Falls, transferred University Avenue from US 63 to Iowa 58 (former US 218) to the Iowa Department of Transportation on March 11, 1998.

Unsigned Iowa 934 will be assigned to this section of highway.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that Unsigned Iowa 934, as described in the attachment, be added to the Primary Road System.

New Description - Unsigned Iowa 934 in Black Hawk County described as follows:

Cedar Falls:

University Avenue (Old US 218) from Iowa 58 easterly to the east corporation line of Cedar Falls (west corporation line of Waterloo).

Waterloo:

University Avenue (Old US 218) from the west corporation line of Waterloo (east corporation line of Cedar Falls); thence easterly to US 63.
