DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Iowa 352 begins at US 71 approximately one‑half mile south of the City of Truesdale, and travels north to the south corporate limits of the City of Truesdale.

Transfer of jurisdiction agreement number TJ‑352‑0 (3) between Buena Vista County and the Iowa Department of Transportation transferred Iowa 352 from US 71 approximately 700 feet west of the S ¼ Corner Section 2-T91N‑R37W north to the south corporation line of the City of Truesdale to county jurisdiction on November 25, 1981.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended the commission approve deleting the present description of Iowa 352 in Buena Vista County from the primary road system.

Remove Iowa 352 in Buena Vista County as follows:

Beginning at a point approximately 700 feet west of the S ¼ Corner Section 2‑T91N‑R37W (junction US 71); thence northerly through said Section 2 to the south corporation line of the City of Truesdale connecting with an unnamed street.

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Iowa 352 begins at US 71 approximately one‑half mile south of the City of Truesdale, and travels north into the City of Truesdale.

Transfer of jurisdiction agreement number TJ‑352‑0 (2), between the City of Truesdale and the Iowa Department of Transportation, transferred Iowa 352 in the City of Truesdale from the south corporation line north and west to First Avenue to city jurisdiction on August 11, 1980.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended the Commission approve deleting the present description of Iowa 352 in Buena Vista County from the primary road system and approve including the attached new description of Iowa 352 in the primary road system.

Locate Iowa 352 in Buena Vista County as follows:

Beginning at a point approximately 700 feet west of the S ¼ Corner Section 2-T91N‑R37W (junction US 71); thence northerly through said Section 2 to the south corporation line of the City of Truesdale connecting with an unnamed street.

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Due to a review of our Primary Road System Records, Iowa 352 in Buena Vista County should be deleted and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary System.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that the old description of Iowa 352 in Buena Vista County be deleted and the new description, as referred in the attached detailed description, be included in the Primary Road System effective upon the adoption of this resolution.

Locate Iowa 352 aid its extension in Buena Vista County as follows:

Beginning at a point approximately 700 feet west of the S ¼ Corner Section 2‑T91N‑R37W (junction US 71); thence northerly through said Section 2 to the south corporation line of the City of Truesdale connecting with an unnamed street.

Beginning on the south corporation line connecting with an unnamed street; thence northerly and westerly to First Avenue.
