Beginning on East Street at the north corporation line (Calhoun‑Pocahontas County line); thence south on East Street to the south corporation line.

Beginning on the south corporation line of Pomeroy, connecting with East Street; thence south following substantially the section line of Sections 7 and 18‑T89N‑R32W to a point approximately 700 feet north of the SW Corner Section 18‑T89N-R32W; thence curving in a southeasterly direction to a point approximately 700 feet east of the SW Corner Section 18‑T89N-R32W; thence east following substantially the section line through Sections 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24‑T89N‑R32W; thence east following substantially the section line of Sections 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24‑T89N‑R31W to a point approximately 500 feet east of the N ¼ Corner Section 24‑T89N‑R31W; thence in a northeasterly direction through the south part of Section 13‑T89N‑R31W to the Calhoun‑Webster County line at a point approximately 700 feet north of the southeast corner of Section 13‑T89N‑R31W, Calhoun County (SW Corner of Section 18-T89N‑R30W, Webster County).

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Due to the review of our Primary Road System records, Iowa 7 in Calhoun County should be deleted and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary Road System.

Iowa 7 begins at the Calhoun‑Pocahontas County line in Pomeroy, Iowa and travels southerly and easterly to the Calhoun‑Webster County line approximately 4 miles east of Manson, Iowa.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

Locate Iowa 7 and its extension in Calhoun County as follows:

Pomeroy:

Beginning on an unnamed street at the north corporation line (Calhoun-Pocahontas County line); thence southerly on said unnamed street to the south corporation line.

Beginning on the south corporation line of the City of Pomeroy, connecting with unnamed street; thence south following substantially the section line of Sections 7 and 18‑T89N‑R32W to a point approximately 700 feet north of the SW Corner Section 18‑T89N‑R32W; thence curving in a southeasterly direction to a point approximately 700 feet east of the SW Corner Section 18‑T89N‑R32W; thence easterly following substantially the section line through Sections 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24‑T89N‑R32W; thence easterly following substantially the section line of Sections 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24‑T89N‑R31W to a point approximately 500 feet east of the N ¼ Corner Section 24‑T89N‑R31W; thence in a northeasterly direction through the south part of Section 13‑T89N‑R31W to the Calhoun-Webster County line at a point approximately 700 feet north of the SE Corner of said Section 13, Calhoun County (SW Corner of Section 18‑T89N‑R30W, Webster County).
