DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:
Transfer
of jurisdiction agreement number TJ‑053‑0 (1), between Clarke County
and the Iowa Department of Transportation, transferred the road section from
the west ramps of Interstate 35 in the NW ¼ Section 6‑T72N‑R25W
southerly approximately one and one‑half miles to US 69 near the S ¼
Corner SW ¼ Section 8‑T72N‑R25W to state jurisdiction on October
27, 1980. The road section is now designated as
PROPOSAL/ACTION
RECOMMENDATION:
It
is recommended the commission approve including the attached new description of
Locate
Beginning
in the NW ¼ Section 6‑T72N‑R25W at the west ramps of Interstate 35;
thence easterly, and southeasterly through Section 6‑T72N‑R25W to a
point approximately 2200 feet north of the SW Corner Section 5‑T72N‑R25W;
thence southerly following substantially the section line said Section 5 to a
point approximately 600 feet north of the SW Corner Section 5‑T72N‑R25W;
thence curving southeasterly to a point approximately 600 feet east of the SW
Corner Section 5‑T72N‑R25W; thence easterly following substantially
the section line Section 8‑T72N‑R25W to a point near the S ¼ Corner
SW ¼ Section 8‑T72N‑R25W (junction US 69).

south corporation line of the City of Murray to county jurisdiction on October
