DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:
US 34 begins
on the Des Moines‑Henry County line approximately four miles northwest of
Danville, and travels southeasterly and easterly to the Iowa-Illinois State
line at Burlington via Danville, Middletown, West Burlington and Burlington.
Due to an
annexation in the west part of West Burlington within the US 34 and Unsigned
Iowa 935 interchange area the present description of US 34 in Des Moines County
should be revised. The new description added should be officially included in
the primary road system to reflect this change to corporate limits.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is
recommended that the old description of US 34 in
