DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

This section of 11th Street, which already belonged to the city but being used by the Department of Transportation, was given back to the city around March of 1993.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that Unsigned Iowa 948 in Dubuque be deleted from the Primary Road System.

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Due to the relocation of US 61/151 in Dubuque in 1992, an old section which had been non-mainline in 1991 became unsigned Iowa 948 and the official description in the Primary Road System should be revised to reflect this change.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that unsigned Iowa 948 in Dubuque County, as described in the attachment, be included in the Primary Road System.

Locate Unsigned Iowa 948 in Dubuque as follows:

Beginning on East 11th Street at southbound off ramp; thence easterly to East 9th Street (Unsigned Iowa 959).
