Iowa 117 begins at Iowa 163 in the City of Prairie City, and travels generally northwesterly via the Cities of Colfax and Mingo to US 65 and Iowa 330 approx­imately three miles northwest of the City of Mingo.

 

Due to an annexation to the south part of the City of Colfax, the present description of Iowa 117 in Jasper County should be deleted and the new description added should be officially included in the primary road system to reflect this change in corporate limits.

It is recommended the commission approve deleting the present description of Iowa 117 in Jasper County from the primary road system and approve including the attached new description of Iowa 117 in the primary road system.
