DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND: Due to an approved request from District One and the City of Marshalltown, IA330 has now been extended and the official description should be updated to reflect this change. The new description should be officially included into the Primary Road System.

New Description – IA330 and its extensions in Jasper County described as follows:

Beginning on the Jasper-Polk County line running concurrently with US65, at a point near the W ¼ Corner of Section 31-T81N-R21W, Jasper County (E ¼ Corner of Section 36-T81N-R22W, Polk County); thence in a northeasterly direction concurrently with US65, through Sections 31, 30, 29, and 20-T81N-R21W to a point approximately 1500 feet north and 240 feet east of the SE Corner of Section 20-T81N-R21W (junction of Iowa 117)

Beginning at the intersection of Iowa 117 and US 65 at a point near the W ¼ Corner SW ¼ Section 21‑T81N‑R21W; thence in a northeasterly direction through Section 21, 16, 15, 10, 11, 2 and Section 1‑T81N‑R21W to the Jasper‑Story County line at a point approximately 300 feet west of the NE Corner Section 1-T81N‑R21W, Jasper County (SE Corner Section 36‑T82N‑R21W, Story County).

Due to a review of our Primary Road System Records, Iowa 330 in Jasper County should be officially included into the Primary System.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that the description of Iowa 330 in Jasper County as referred in the attached detailed description be included in the Primary Road System effective upon the adoption of this resolution.

Beginning at the intersection of Iowa 117 and US 65 at a point near the W ¼ Corner SW ¼ Section 21‑T81N‑R21W; thence in a northeasterly direction through Sections 21, 16, 15, 10, 11, 2, and Section 1‑T81N‑R21W to the Jasper‑Story County line at a point approximately 300 feet west of the NE Corner Section 1‑T81N-R21W, Jasper County (SE Corner Section 36‑T82N‑R21W, Story County).
