Iowa 926 begins on the Jasper‑Polk county line approximately one‑half
mile east of the City of Mitchellville, and travels easterly via the City of
Colfax to US 6 and Iowa 14 in the City of Newton.
Transfer of jurisdiction agreement number TJ‑6‑0 (70), between Jasper County and the Iowa Department of Transportation, transferred that portion of Unsigned Iowa 926 from the Jasper-Polk county line near the NW Corner Section 18‑T79N‑21W easterly to the west corporation line of the City of Colfax approximately 400 feet east of the N ¼ Corner Section 11‑T79N‑R21W, and from Interstate 80 approximately 1700 feet west and 800 feet north of the SE Corner Section 33‑T80-R20W easterly to the southwest corner of the City of Lambs Grove to county jurisdiction on July 1, 1980.
Transfer of
jurisdiction agreement number TJ‑6‑0 (70) ‑‑2M‑50,
between Jasper County and the Iowa Department of Transportation, transferred
that portion of Unsigned Iowa 926 from the east corporation line of the City of
Colfax near the NW Corner Section 7-T79N-R20W northeasterly to Interstate 80
approximately 800 feet north and 1700 feet west of the SE Corner Section 33‑T80N‑R20W
to county jurisdiction on July 1, 1981.
Transfer of
jurisdiction agreement number TJ‑6‑0 (70), between Jasper County
and the Iowa Department of Transportation, and transfer of jurisdiction
agreement number TJ-6‑0 (69), between the City of Colfax and the Iowa
Department of Transportation, transferred that portion of Unsigned Iowa 926
along the north corporation line of the City of Colfax to the west corporation
line of the City of Colfax to local jurisdiction on August 8, 1980.
Transfer of
jurisdiction agreement number TJ‑6‑0 (69), between the City of
Colfax and the Iowa Department of Transportation, transferred that portion of Unsigned
Iowa 926 from the west corporation line of the City of Colfax easterly to Iowa
117 to city jurisdiction on August 8, 1980.
Transfer of
jurisdiction agreement number TJ‑6‑0 (70), between Jasper County
and the Iowa Department of Transportation, and automatic transfer of
jurisdiction by the State Functional Classification Review Board, transferred
that portion of Unsigned Iowa 926 along the south corporation line of the City
of Lambs Grove to the west corporation line of the City of Newton to local
jurisdiction on July 1, 1980.
Transfer of jurisdiction agreement number TJ‑6‑0
(63), between the City of Newton and the Iowa Department of Transportation, and
an automatic transfer of jurisdiction by the State Functional Classification
Review Board, transferred that portion of Unsigned Iowa 926 along the common
corporate limits of the City of Newton and the City of Lambs Grove to Iowa 14
to local jurisdiction on August 26, 1980.

the City of Colfax easterly to a junction with US 6 and Iowa 14 in the City of
