Soldier:

Beginning on an unnamed street at the west corporation line; thence southeasterly on an unnamed street to the south corporation line.

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Due to a review of our Primary Road System records Iowa 37 in Monona County should be deleted and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary System.

Iowa 37 begins at a junction with Iowa 175 approximately ¼ mile east of Turin and travels easterly and southeasterly via the City of Soldier to the Monona‑Crawford County line approximately 2 miles north of the Monona‑Harrison County line.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

Locate Iowa 37 and its extension in Monona County as follows:

Beginning at a point approximately 210 feet north of the center of Section 10‑T83N‑R44W (junction of Iowa 175); thence in a southeasterly direction through Section 10‑T83N‑R44W to a point approximately 200 feet north of the SE Corner of Section 10‑T83N‑R44W; thence in a general easterly direction through Sections 11, 14, 11, 12 and 13‑T83N‑R44W and Sections 18, 17, 16, 15, and 10‑T83N‑R43W to a point approximately 100 feet west of the SE Corner of Section 10-T83N-R43W; thence in a southeasterly direction through Sections 15, 14, 13 and 24‑T83N‑R43W and Section 19‑T83N‑R42W to the west corporation line of the City of Soldier, connecting with an unnamed street.
