Beginning on the O'Brien‑Sioux County line at a point near the NW Corner Section 7‑T94N‑R42W, O'Brien County (NE Corner Section 12‑T94N‑R43W, Sioux County); thence easterly following substantially the section line of Sections 7, 8, 9, (junction Iowa 143), 10, 11, and 12‑T94N‑R42W to a point approximately 530 feet east of the NW Corner Section 12‑T94N‑R42W; thence in an easterly direction through the southern part of Sections 1‑T94N‑R42W and 6‑T94N‑R41W to a point approximately 3,430 feet east of the SW Corner Section 6‑T94N‑R41W; thence in a southeasterly, northeasterly, and easterly direction through the north part of Sections 7, 8, and 9‑T94N‑R41W to the west corporation line of Paullina, connecting with Grand Avenue.

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Due to a review of our Primary Road System Records, Iowa 10 in O'Brien County should be deleted and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary System.

Iowa 10 begins on the O'Brien‑Sioux County line approximately 9 miles west of Paullina, and travels in an easterly and southeasterly direction via Paullina and Sutherland, to the O'Brien‑Clay County line approximately ¾ mile north of the SE Corner of O'Brien County.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

Locate Iowa 10 and its extensions in O'Brien County as follows:

Beginning on the O'Brien‑Sioux County line at a point near the NW Corner Section 7‑T94N‑R42W, O'Brien County (NE Corner Section 12‑T94N‑R43W, Sioux County); thence easterly following substantially the section line of Sections 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12‑T94N‑R42W to a point approximately 530 feet east of the NW Corner Section 12‑T94N‑R42W; thence in an easterly direction through the southern part of Sections 1‑T94N‑R42W and 6‑T94N‑R41W to a point approximately 3430 feet east of the SW Corner Section 6‑T94N‑R41W; thence in a southeasterly, northeasterly, and easterly direction through the north part of Sections 7, 8, and 9‑T94N‑R41W to the west corporation line of the City of Paullina, connecting with an unnamed street.
