TITLE: Approving the removal of Iowa 208 and its extensions from the Primary Road System in Page County.

Remove Iowa 208 and its extensions in Page County, Iowa, as follows:

Blanchard:

Commencing on Second Street at the north corporation line; thence southerly on Second Street 770 feet to Main Street; thence westerly on Main Street 682 feet to the east property line of Railroad Street.

Beginning on the north corporation line of the Town of Blanchard, connecting with Second Street; thence in a northeasterly direction along the east side of the Wabash Railway and substantially parallel thereto through Sections 29, 28, 21 and 16‑T67N‑R38W and in a northwesterly and northerly direction along the east side of said railroad and substantially parallel thereto through Sections 9, 8 and 5‑T67N‑R38W to the south corporation line of the Town of Coin, connecting with an unnamed street on the east side of the Wabash Railway.

Coin:

Commencing on unnamed street at the north corporation line; thence southeasterly and southerly on unnamed street to the south corporation line.

Beginning again on the north corporation line of the Town of Coin, connecting with an unnamed street; thence north following substantially the quarter section line to a point near the N ¼ Corner Section 5‑T68N‑R38W; thence north through the west part of Section 33‑T69N‑R38W to a point approximately ¼ mile east and 300 feet south of the NW Corner Section 33‑T69N‑R38W; thence curving in a northeasterly direction to a point approximately 1,600 feet east of the NW Corner Section 33-T69N-R38W.

NOW, THEREFORE: Be it resolved that the Iowa State Highway Commission approve the removal of Iowa 208 and its extensions in Page County, Iowa.

NOTE: The removal of Iowa 208 is to become effective as soon as any portion is placed under construction in accordance with agreement signed by Page County May 1, 1973, and by the Director of Highways May 16, 1973.
