TITLE: Approving the removal of Iowa 260 and its extension from the Primary Road System in Ringgold County.

Remove Iowa 260 and its extension in Ringgold County, Iowa, as follows:

Beginning on the Ringgold‑Union County line at the east corporation line of the Town of Shannon City, connecting with First Street; thence east along the Ringgold‑Union County line to a point near the NE Corner of Section 6‑T70N‑R29W, Ringgold County (SE Corner Section 31‑T71N‑R29W, Union County).

Shannon City:

Commencing at the intersection of Main Street and First Street and then in an easterly direction on First Street to the east corporation line.

NOW, THEREFORE: Be it resolved that the Iowa State Highway Commission approve the removal of Iowa 260 and its extension in Ringgold County, Iowa.

NOTE: After Iowa 260 has been closed for construction, it shall become a part of Ringgold County's Secondary Road System in accord with Agreement signed by Ringgold County March 13, 1973.
