Beginning on the Webster‑Calhoun County line near the SW Corner Section 7‑T86N‑R30W Webster County (SE Corner Section 12‑T86N‑R31W Calhoun County); thence east following substantially the section line of Sections 18, 17, 16, 15, 14 and 13‑T86N‑R30W and Sections 18, 17, 16, 15, 14 and 13‑T86N‑R29W to a point approximately 850 feet east of the NW Corner Section 13‑T86N‑R29W (west junction US 169); thence east following substantially the section line of Section 13‑T86N‑R29W and Sections 18, 17, 16 (east junction US 169), 15 and 14‑T86N‑R28W to the north corporation line of Dayton, connecting with an unnamed street.

Dayton:

Beginning on an unnamed street at the north corporation line; thence southeast on unnamed street to 3rd Street NW; thence south on 3rd Street NW to Skillet Street; thence east on Skillet Street to Main Street; thence south and southeast on Main Street to the south corporation line.

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Iowa 175 begins on the Webster‑Calhoun County line near the SE corner of Farnhamville, and travels generally easterly via Dayton and Stratford to the Webster‑Hamilton County line in Stratford, Iowa.

Due to a review of our Primary Road System Records Iowa 175 in Webster County should be deleted and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary System.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that the old description of Iowa 175 in Webster County be deleted and the new description, as referred in the attached detailed description, be included in the Primary Road System effective upon the adoption of this resolution.
