DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

In TJ Agreement Number 2015-TJ-001, all remaining portions of Iowa 926 in Fort Dodge were transferred over to the city of Fort Dodge, effective November 4, 2014.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that Iowa 926 in Webster County be removed from the Primary Road System.

TITLE: Official Description Change: Iowa 926 Webster County

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

US 20 has been relocated from a junction with FAS Route 3428 (County P‑59) westerly to the junction of US 169. Iowa 7 has been changed to end at the north junction of US 169. The portion of old US 20 from the junction of US 169 easterly, north and easterly to the junction of old Iowa 7 and old Iowa 7 from the junction of old US 20 northerly and westerly to the south junction of US 169. These portions should be re-designated as Iowa 926 and signed as business route US 169. Iowa 926 begins at the junction of old US 20 and US 169 and travels easterly, northerly, easterly, northerly and westerly to the south junction of US 169.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended to approve adding the description of Iowa 926 and signed as business US 169 in Webster County to the Primary Road System.

New description ‑ Iowa 926 signed Business US 169 in Webster County described as follows:

Beginning at a junction with US 169 and old US 20, then easterly, northerly, easterly, northerly and westerly to the south junction of US 169 and old Iowa 7.
