Iowa 9 begins on the Winnebago‑Kossuth County line approximately 1 mile west of Buffalo Center, and travels generally easterly, southerly and easterly via Buffalo Center, Leland, and Forest City to the Winnebago‑Worth County line approximately 1 mile north of the southeast corner of Winnebago County.

A correction in the south corporation line on the base map of the City of Buffalo Center indicates the present description of Iowa 9 in Winnebago County should be revised. The new description added should be officially included in the primary system to reflect a change in the south corporate limits of Buffalo Center easterly from Fourth Street NE along Iowa 9.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that the old description of Iowa 9 in Winnebago County be deleted and the new description, as referred to in the attached detailed description, be included in the primary road system.
