New Description ‑ Iowa 175 and its extension in Woodbury County described as follows:

Beginning on the Woodbury‑Monona County line at a point approximately 400 feet east of the SW Corner Section 32‑T86N‑R42W, Woodbury County (NW Corner Section 5‑T85N‑R42W, Monona County); then in a northeasterly direction through Sections 32, 33 and 28‑T86N‑R42W to the west corporation line of Danbury, connecting with an unnamed street.

Danbury:

Beginning on an unnamed street at the west corporation line; then northeast on unnamed street to the east corporation line.

Beginning again on the east corporation line of Danbury connecting with an unnamed street; then in a northeasterly direction through Sections 27, 26, 23, 14, 13 and 12‑T86N‑R42W to the Woodbury‑Ida County line at a point approximately 800 feet south of the E ¼ Corner Section 12‑T86N‑R42W, Woodbury County (W ¼ Corner Section 7‑TB6N‑R41W, Ida County).

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Iowa 175 begins on the Woodbury‑Monona County line approximately 5 miles west of the SE corner of Woodbury County, and travels in a northeasterly direction via Danbury to the Woodbury‑Ida County line approximately 42 miles north of the SE corner of Woodbury County, Iowa.

Due to a review of our Primary Road System Records Iowa 175 in Woodbury County should be deleted and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary System.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that the old description of Iowa 175 in Woodbury County be deleted and the new description, as referred in the attached detailed description, be included in the Primary Road System effective upon the adoption of this resolution.
