TITLE: Official Description Change: Unsigned Iowa 915, Polk County

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Transfer of jurisdiction agreement number 93-TJ-003 and 90-TJ-020 between the Iowa Department of Transportation, City of Ankeny and Polk County transferred Unsigned Iowa 915 to the City of Ankeny and Polk County on February 3, 1994.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that Unsigned Iowa 915 in Ankeny and the rural section be deleted from the Primary Road System.

TITLE: Official Description Change: Unsigned Iowa 915, Polk County

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Due to the relocation of Iowa 415 in Polk County in the fall of 1993, the old sections of Unsigned Iowa 415 became Unsigned Iowa 915 and the official description should be changed to reflect this.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that Unsigned Iowa 915 in Polk County be added to the Primary Road System, as described in the attachment.

New Description - Unsigned Iowa 915 in Polk County described as follows:

Beginning at the west corporation line of Ankeny in the SW ¼ of Section 27-T80N-R24W connecting with SW Orlabor Road; thence in a general northwesterly direction through Sections 27, 28, 21 and 20-T80N-R24W to near N ¼ Corner SE ¼ of said Section 20 (junction Iowa 415).

Beginning again near the center NW ¼ of Section 17-T80N-R24W; then northwesterly through Sections 17, 18 and 7-T80N-R24W to a point near center Sec. 7-T80N-R24W (junction Iowa 415).
