Due
to its relocation, US 6 in Scott County should be deleted and the new
description added should be officially included in the primary road system.
US
6 begins at the Scott‑Cedar County line approximately two miles north of
the City of Durant and proceeds easterly and southeasterly via the Cities of
Walcott, Davenport and Bettendorf to the Iowa-Illinois state line at the City
of Bettendorf.

RECOMMENDATION:
It
is recommended the commission approve deleting the present description of US 6
in Scott County from the primary road system and approve including the attached
new description of US 6 in the primary road system.
