*Rates above are for concrete pavement.  When higher slump is required for other work, such as patching, and other structural applications, rates shall be adjusted per manufacturer’s recommendation.

^For HPC-O, these mid-range water reducers can be used without retarding admixtures. All other mid-range water reducers shall be used in conjunction with a retarder.

#These brands are also listed as water reducing and retarding admixtures in Appendix G. A higher dosage is normally needed for retarding purpose.
