PERIMETER & SLOPE SEDIMENT CONTROL DEVICES.

Wattles and Sediment Logs shall consist of wood excelsior or straw contained in a tube of  photo degradable open weave fabric (synthetic netting).

Wood Excelsior Sediment Logs & Straw Wattles shall have the following minimum weights.

20” 3lb/ft & 12” 2 lb/ft with tolerance of 0.25 lb/ft.   9” 1lb/ft & 6” 0.5lb/ft with a tolerance of 0.1lb/ft.

Filter socks shall be a continuous, tubular, knitted photo degradable, synthetic mesh netting with a maximum 3/8” opening.
