DISTRICT MATERIALS DUTIES
This appendix contains District
Materials aggregate duties.
- Monitor
producer/supplier compliance to the respective Approved Producer Quality
Control Program.
- Confirm that
material is being produced from the intended ledge.
- Confirm that
unprocessed reclaimed pavement is sorted for the intended recycled
product.
- Review
requirements of source approvals for production ledges or depths and
processing methods.
- Review sample
locations and methods.
- Review Q/C tests:

- Request
updates to Producer Q/C programs. Every two years the Districts review
Producer laboratories as part of the Aggregate Laboratory Qualification Process
(IM 208). During this process, the inspector may request company Q/C plan
updates. Another opportunity is at District/Producer meetings. Updates may
be necessary particularly if there have been:

personnel changes
-
changes in contact information
-
changes in the company structure such as changes in
aggregate sources.

certification of aggregates, including compliance of certification
