LIGHT POLE BASES

GENERAL

Light pole bases shall meet the requirements of Sections 2523 and 4185 of the Standard Specifications along with Standard Road Plans LI-210 and LI-211.

ACCEPTANCE

Acceptance of Light Pole Bases will be on the basis of certification from the manufacturer.

A certification statement shall include the following:

1. All materials meet the manufacturer’s specifications and comply with the applicable specifications of the Iowa Department of Transportation.

2. All products of iron, steel, or a coating of steel meet the requirements of IM 107, Group 2, Buy America.
