Determining Deficient Area
An overlay density test will be representative of the width placed and:
· For a distance extending one-half the distance to the next density test location measured along center line, or
· To the end section if project is starting or ending.
Air and slump will be considered complying for all mix placed since the last complying test. (Assumes concrete placed since the last previous complying test is in compliance until the noncomplying test occurs.) When a noncomplying test is identified, much more frequent testing is warranted.
