Adjustment will be made on the quantity of HMA mixture affected and not to the asphalt binder.  No payment will be made for asphalt binder used in a mixture in excess of the tolerance specified.
NOTES: 1. Use of this Price Adjustment is limited to situations where no hot box samples are taken on a given day of HMA paving. 2. This Price Adjustment applies when the % of deviation is above or below the intended asphalt binder content.
