- Extends Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Effective Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users (SAFETEA-LU) for the final three months of FFY 2012.
- Authorizes surface transportation programs with program restructuring for another two years – FFY 2013 and FFY 2014.
- Extends expenditure authority from the Highway Trust Fund through Sept. 30, 2014.
- Extends highway-related taxes through Sept. 30, 2016 (extends heavy vehicle use tax through Sept. 30, 2017).
