Browser and Device Testing

Iowa DOT web pages need to be tested by the following browsers and devices (listed below) before going live. The Web team uses BrowserStack for web page testing.

  • Windows 10 – Edge, IE 11, Chrome (two most recent versions that are not beta), Firefox (two most recent versions that are not beta)
  • Windows 8 .1 - IE 11, Chrome (two most recent versions that are not beta), Firefox (two most recent versions that are not beta)
  • Windows 8 - IE 11 and 10, Chrome (two most recent versions that are not beta), Firefox (two most recent versions that are not beta)
  • Windows 7 - IE 11, 10, and 9, Chrome (two most recent versions that are not beta), Firefox (two most recent versions that are not beta)
  • Mac (Sierra) – Safari (most recent version), Chrome (most recent version), Firefox (most recent version)
  • IOS (iPhone) – iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, iPhone 5S, and iPhone 5C
  • IOS (Tablet) – iPad Air 2, iPad 4, iPad mini 3 and 4, iPad 4
  • Android (Samsung phone) – Galaxy S7, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 4
  • Android (Samsung tablet) – Galaxy Tab 4
