Federal Airport Improvement Program Preapplication

All FFY 2026 preapplication materials must be submitted to the Iowa DOT Modal Transportation Bureau - Aviation by Friday. Dec. 20, 2024

Complete applications will include:

• Sponsor identification and checklist
  Please consider utilizing the FAA Airport External Portal for updating your sponsor information.
• CIP Data Sheet - One for each project in first three years of CIP signed and dated by the sponsor

• Five-Year Capital Improvement Program (CIP)
  Email draft copy to Junior.E.Lindsay@faa.gov and Joshua.W.Peters@faa.gov for comment by November 18, 2024.
  Final version must be signed by the sponsor.

• Long-Range Needs Assessment
• Planning documents as required

• Revenue producing facilities
  Documentation  that shows all airside needs met, approaches are clear and the project is justified.
