TraCS
The TraCS program, an Iowa DOT initiative, collects motor vehicle collision data from law enforcement and sends it electronically to the Iowa DOT. Over 95% of crash data and 80% of citations in Iowa are submitted electronically. TraCS software and support are provided at no cost to qualifying public safety agencies.
MACH
MACH is an internet-based communications tool that allows public safety agencies to share information, enhancing cooperation in daily and emergency situations. Using scalable and secure web-services messaging, it offers advanced features previously unpractical to provide to the public safety official in the field. Initially developed and piloted in Iowa, MACH software and support are provided at no cost to qualifying Iowa public safety agencies.
