The DBE supportive services program is operated in conjunction with the DBE Program and implemented by the Iowa Department of Transportation Civil Rights Bureau.

The Iowa DOT offers supportive services to assist highway-related DBE-certified companies, including:

  • Technical assistance, including alternate dispute resolution.
  • Construction manuals and standard specifications books.
  • Classroom and self-study education courses.
  • Certified public accountant financial assistance.
  • Bonding financial assistance.
