The April 21, 2026 letting we will be using the new enhanced bidding on BidX.
Please review the updated requirements:
• Existing Digital ID holders will be prompted to import their Digital ID to their browser.
• The first time you open a proposal, a security key will be created. This serves as a backup to your Digital ID.

Constructability Review meetings were held on November 24, 2025, and March 2, 2026. The purpose of the meetings was to gather industry feedback on the constructability of the Gordon Drive Viaduct Reconstruction project in Sioux City. Notice of Contractor Insurance Changes
The Iowa DOT has updated the contractor insurance provisions in Specification 1107.02, Insurance. These changes impact coverage limits as well as other updates. These new requirements will be effective January 1, 2027. Contractors may meet these new requirements through their annual renewals or through an update to a current policy, provided the provisions are met prior to the posted deadline.
