Ames, Iowa – Oct. 13, 2023 – Join the Iowa Department of Transportation for an in-person or virtual public information meeting to discuss proposed right-of-way needs for the bypass northwest of Oskaloosa.
The proposed realignment of U.S. 63 shifts the existing roadway to the west, about 3 miles northwest of Oskaloosa. The proposed two-lane bypass will run diagonally and would connect U.S. 63 north of the Oskaloosa city limits to a new interchange at Iowa 163 west of Oskaloosa.
In-person meeting:
When: Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2023, anytime between 5:30 and 7 pm
Location: Oskaloosa Middle School, 1704 N. Third St.
Description: You will be provided with information about the project, and you can talk through your ideas with our staff and consultants. There will be no formal presentation.
