Ames, Iowa – July 10, 2024 – Tell us what you think about a planned bridge replacement on Iowa 3 over Eagle Creek in Wright County (Event # 6066).
Construction is scheduled to begin in spring 2026. Improvements include:
- Remove the existing bridge and construct a new bridge.
- Construct new bridge approaches, guardrail, and field driveways.
Traffic will be detoured during construction. The proposed detour would follow Wright County Roads R-33, C-54, U.S. 69 and Iowa 3. Access to properties will always be maintained.
