Ames, Iowa – Aug. 2, 2024– Tell us what you think about proposed improvements on Iowa 122 from Pierce Avenue to Monroe Avenue in Mason City. (Event # 6046)

Changes include:

  • Removal of existing pavement and pavement reconstruction.
  • Construct sanitary sewer, water main, and storm sewer.

During the reconstruction of Iowa 122 traffic will be head-to-head through the work zone. Access to the hospital will be maintained at all times, by alternate routes. Construction is expected to start spring 2025 and end fall 2026.

Location: Mason City Room, Mason City Public Library, 225 2nd St. SE, Mason City, Iowa

Description: You will be provided with information about the project, and you can talk through your ideas with our DOT city staff. There will be no formal presentation.
