Ames, Iowa – Nov. 6, 2024 – In conjunction with Winter Weather Awareness Day, the Iowa departments of transportation and public safety and the National Weather Service will hold a Winter Weather Resources Webinar for members of the media from 10 – 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7. The event is designed to give our media partners, a glimpse into how the agencies come together to prepare for the winter season and respond to each unique storm.
We will also share tips on how to best work with our agencies, introduce resources available to you to enhance your winter weather reporting, and give you a chance to ask our agency representatives questions.
