Ames, Iowa – March 18, 2025– Tell us what you think about proposed improvements along U.S. 69 from 3rd Street South to 3rd Street North in the City of Belmond. (Event # 6506)

Changes include:

  • Removing and replacing the existing sidewalks.
  • Upgrading curb ramps to meet current Americans with Disabilities Acts (ADA) design requirements.

During construction, through traffic will be maintained with single-lane closures in each direction. Construction is expected to start in the spring of 2026 and end in the fall of 2026.

Location: Belmond City Hall, 112 2nd Ave. NE, Belmond, Iowa 50421

Description: You will be provided with information about the project, and you can talk through your ideas with our staff. There will be no formal presentation.
