Ames, Iowa – March 18, 2025– Tell us what you think about proposed improvements along U.S. 69 from 3rd Street South to 3rd Street North in the City of Belmond. (Event # 6506)
Changes include:
- Removing and replacing the existing sidewalks.
- Upgrading curb ramps to meet current Americans with Disabilities Acts (ADA) design requirements.
During construction, through traffic will be maintained with single-lane closures in each direction. Construction is expected to start in the spring of 2026 and end in the fall of 2026.
