Ames, Iowa – March 27, 2025 – Learn about upcoming improvements to U.S. 30 from west of Charles Ave, near Lisbon, to the west city limits of Stanwood in Cedar County. (Event # 6486)

Improvements include:

  • Replacing the existing pavement
  • Asphalt resurfacing
  • Grading and paving of passing lanes, turn lanes and paved shoulders.  

During the reconstruction, traffic will be maintained, and at times a pilot car will be used for single lane alternating traffic. Construction on the travel lanes will be in 2025. Construction of passing lanes, paved shoulders, and turning lanes is anticipated to be in 2026.
