Ames, Iowa – April 18, 2025– Tell us what you think about a proposed roundabout at the north junction of U.S. 18 and U.S. 71. (Event # 6606)
Changes include the construction of a roundabout at the north junction of U.S. 18 and U.S. 71.
During the construction of the roundabout, traffic will be detoured along 4th Ave NW and 4th Ave W; this route will be paved and located in the southwest quadrant of the U.S. 18 and U.S. 71 intersection. Construction is expected to start spring of 2027 and end fall of 2027.
