AMES, Iowa – April 24, 2025 – Tell us what you think about the proposed bridge replacement on Iowa 144 over East Buttrick Creek in Webster County (Event # 6626).
The existing bridge is 70 years old and in need of replacement. The bridge will be replaced with twin reinforced concrete box culverts.
Construction will take place starting in spring 2027 and be completed by the end of 2027.
Traffic will be detoured during the construction of the new culverts. The detour will utilize Iowa 175, County Road P46, and County Road D68.
