The Iowa DOT is in the process of setting our Federal Fiscal Years (FFY) 2026-2028 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal for Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funded projects.
In establishing the three-year DBE goal, we are seeking public input on our goal-setting process from minority, women, general contractor, and community organization groups and other officials or organizations who could be expected to have information concerning the availability of disadvantaged and non-disadvantaged businesses, and the effects of discrimination on opportunities for DBEs. 49 CFR Part 26.45 is the federal regulation the Iowa DOT must follow in establishing our DBE goal.
