CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – June 2, 2025 – If you travel on the Prairie Du Chien Road bridge over Interstate 80 in Iowa City you need to be aware of an upcoming bridge closure that may slow down your trip, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Cedar Rapids construction office.
Starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, June 9, until early August, weather permitting, crews will close the bridge so they can work on a bridge deck overlay project.
