SIOUX CITY, Iowa – July 2, 2025 – Crews will be closing the Gordon Drive/westbound Iowa 12 exit ramp to Iowa 376/Business U.S. 75 on Monday, July 7, until Wednesday, Aug. 20, weather permitting, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Sioux City construction office.
When the exit ramp to Iowa 376/Business U.S. 75 is closed so work related to the Gordon Drive Viaduct project can be completed, you will follow a marked detour route using Fairmount Street north to Lewis Boulevard.
The Iowa DOT reminds motorists to drive with caution, obey the posted speed limit and other signs in the work area, and be aware that traffic fines for moving violations are at least double in work zones. As in all work zones, drivers should stay alert, allow ample space between vehicles, and wear seat belts.
