SIOUX CITY, Iowa – July 2, 2025 – Nighttime ramp closures on U.S.75 at Exits 93, 97 and 99 in Sioux City will occur between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. nightly beginning on Monday, July 7, weather permitting, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Sioux City construction office.
Ramp closures will occur between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. nightly. The work is anticipated to start at Exit 93 (U.S. 20), followed by Exit 97 (Outer Drive/28th Street), and ending at Exit 99 (46th Street). These ramps closures will continue through mid-July. Traveler instructions will be posted on message boards while the ramps are closed.
The Iowa DOT reminds motorists to drive with caution, obey the posted speed limit and other signs in the work area, and be aware that traffic fines for moving violations are at least double in work zones. As in all work zones, drivers should stay alert, allow ample space between vehicles, and wear seat belts.
