AMES, Iowa – August 8, 2025 – Tell us what you think about proposed improvements to U.S. 30 from 590th Avenue to County Road S14 in Nevada.
As part of this project, changes include:
- New interchange at 610th Avenue/Airport Road
- Reconstruction and paving of West Maple Avenue east of 610th Avenue
- Construct extension of West A Avenue west of 610th Avenue
- Close access at 590th and 600th Avenues and 6th Street
During the construction of the U.S. 30 and 610th Avenue interchange, traffic on 610th Avenue will be detoured using County Rd E41/Lincoln Highway, 600th Avenue, and West Maple Avenue. Construction is expected to start spring of 2028 and end fall of 2030.
