AMES, Iowa – Aug. 12, 2025 – Tell us what you think about the proposed bridge replacement on Iowa 37 over the Boyer River just west of U.S. 30 in Harrison County.

Construction will take place starting in the spring of 2028 and be completed by the fall of 2028.

Traffic will be detoured during construction. The proposed detour would follow U.S. 30 to Denison, Iowa 141 to Ute, and Iowa 183 to Soldier. Accelerated bridge construction techniques are planned to reduce the duration of the required detour. Access to properties will be maintained at all times.
