AMES, Iowa – Aug. 29, 2025 – Do you need a car, snowplow truck, tractor, or pick-up? The Iowa Department of Transportation will be auctioning these items as well as some small shop equipment online beginning on Wednesday, Sept. 3.
The auction, held on www.govdeals.com/, will run through Tuesday, Sept. 16.
To get in on the action:
- Go to www.govdeals.com/.
- Select “buyer registration”
- Complete the registration form
- Sign in with a temporary password that was sent to your email when you registered
