MUSCATINE, Iowa – Sept. 29, 2025 – If you travel near the intersection of Iowa 38/U.S. 61 and Cleveland Street in Muscatine you need to be aware of a concrete repair project that may slow down your trip, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Iowa DOT Muscatine garage.
Starting On Tuesday, Sept. 30, through Thursday, Oct. 2, weather permitting, right-hand turns only will be allowed from Cleveland Street onto Iowa 38/U.S. 61, as crews work on repairing concrete at the intersection.
The Iowa DOT reminds motorists to drive with caution, obey the posted speed limit and other signs in the work area, and be aware that traffic fines for moving violations are at least double in work zones. As in all work zones, drivers should stay alert, allow ample space between vehicles, and wear seat belts.
