GRANGER, Iowa – Oct. 15, 2025 – If you drive on NW 114th Street near NW 106th Avenue, you need to be aware of a permanent closure that may slow down your trip, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Grimes Construction office.

Crews are working to remove access to NW 106th Avenue from NW 114th Street near Granger. NW 114th Street can still be accessed from NW 102nd Avenue. The closure is permanent and is part of the DOT’s safety and access improvements in the area.
